Cavalcade

Aenj was born Fatima Angeli Ramos- 21 years ago in Manila, Philippines. After drawing her way through walls and school notebooks, she decided to pursue (and make a living out of) illustration, photography and design.

By her own estimation, she is a work in progress, forever fueled by the desire to learn from books and experience, overcome challenges, and shed more preconceptions on an ever-changing world.

Currently working on many personal projects, she splits her time between freelancing, art collaborations and developing a proper website that would showcase her artworks.

Because I’m running out of excuses for not making ideas happen.
22 stories of different people made into 22 illustrations in watercolor.
I encourage you to be involved in Project 22. If you’re interested, here’s how it works:
Share me a personal memoir— joyous, dramatic, exciting, inspiring, life-changing.. absolutely anything will do! Don’t be shy. No judgement at all.  I want to translate your memoir into art (or something like it) and make a portrait of you. Yes, you. You are my motivation and challenge.
Email me (aenjeleven@yahoo.com) if you want to be involved. All I need is your story and a high-res picture of yourself (to be drawn).
I will wait until October 22, 2010 at 2200 hrs for the 22 slots to be filled. If the slots aren’t filled ‘til deadline, then i won’t be doing this anymore and will be considered a fail and move on to a next project.
This project aims to challenge me on how I’ll be able to tell a story to a sketch so I hope you guys are pretty excited as i am.
Why 22, you ask?
No reason. I just think it’d be cool to mirror-image the number 2.
